Training in the aircraft

Have had some great training days in the last month.  When I get the call to aviate with the owners, I make sure we have some great opportunities to work in the weather without anxiety and distraction from turbulence and ice. My best scenario is a lifted index of 0 to plus 2 and a warm front. There are six levels of weather, and if I have the plus 2 lifted index, I know the stability will allow for smooth air and energy in the atmosphere to limit the cell to a level 3. This is the best for a positive learning experience. The lifted index is the stability of the air at 18,000 ft. The second training Video goes over the understanding. Yeah the Radar is an amazing instrument, but the atmosphere is more amazing. The information that NOAA has made available is truly amazing.
